Geoff & Soulmates – The Silence We Carried

Geoff & Soulmates just dropped “The Silence We Carried”, an 11-track album that really holds your attention all the way through. It leans into strong guitar work and steady, punchy drums, but it never feels too heavy or messy. Everything sits in the right place which honestly makes it an easy album to come back to.

There’s a mix of fast and emotional moments and slower and more thoughtful ones. Some songs feel like they came out naturally, almost raw, while others sound more built and layered over time. That contrast works well. It keeps things interesting.

Vocals are one of the highlights here. The melodies stick and the lyrics hit in a simple but real way. It’s more about feeling than showing off and that works in their favor.

The production is clean but not cold. You can tell there’s care in how everything was put together, from the instruments to the overall sound design. It’s polished, yeah, but still real and human.

The album leaves a strong impression. Not loud, not flashy, just solid and honest. We really enjoyed this one. It’s the kind of album you don’t skip around, you just let it play. And that says a lot.
