EP: Aquarius tha Turquoise – Nuances of a Nuisance

Aquarius tha Turquoise just released his EP “Nuances of a Nuisance”, and it’s like a set of personal moments put into music. It’s honest and direct. The EP opens with “Love’s Interlude” which is a smooth love track. The melody is catchy. The production is clean and everything sits in the right place. His delivery is confident but relaxed which makes it easy to get into.

“Too Far Gone” keeps things soft and steady. The beat is simple, the mix is great and the lyrics are about relationship struggles. The chorus sticks and his flow sounds natural all the way through. There’s something about how easy it sounds that makes it easy to replay without thinking too much about it.

Then “Sexedelics” shifts the mood a bit. This one carries more weight. The vocals have more emotion and the instrumental feels like it was shaped around him. It’s detailed but still controlled. You can tell there was intention behind how everything was built here. Honestly, this track stands out the most.

“Fallen Angle” brings things back to a softer space. The sound design is nice, the tone is steady and the chorus works well. There’s a calm energy behind it and the balance in the mix helps everything sit right without anything fighting for attention.

The outro, “Jessie’s Guitar” is more like a closing note than a full song. It’s just him talking, almost like a thanks message to everyone, with a simple acoustic guitar in the background by Capt. Jessie Mack. It’s honest and just a way to end things on a personal note.

What ties this EP together is how it reflects different emotional moments from his life. It doesn’t try to follow trends or fit into one sound. Instead, it moves through different moods naturally, like small chapters from the same year. You can hear that it comes from real situations, especially in tracks like “Too Far Gone”.

We think this is an artist who is still shaping his space, but there’s already something clear about his direction. The voice is strong, the delivery is natural, and the choices behind the music show care. It’s his debut release and maybe it’s not perfect but that’s part of why it works. We’d go back to this EP again and we’re curious to see where he goes next.
