Experienced duo Sweet Arrow left us stuck on repeat with their incredible track “Feel The Funk” from their latest album “Whatever it Takes.”
The entire project is outstanding, but this track is truly something special and deserves more attention. The energy is amazing and the vibe of this track is different. The lyrics are original, well written and the vocal performance is on another level. This duo is talented and their music is energetic, powerful and sets them apart from the crowd. The vocalist has one of the richest voices we’ve ever heard and his vocal abilities are impressive. The instrumentation is incredible and the guitar solo adds the most perfect touch we could ever ask for. The production here is polished and the mixing is excellent. ABOUT THE DUO:
Xavier and Nathan started their musical journey together in 2015. Getting together to jam was a source of fun after Xavier came out of a long-term relationship break up and Nathan was experiencing mental health challenges at the time. They soon discovered they had a musical chemistry as Xavier was inspired to pen lyrics to Nathan’s infectious guitar riffs. The goal was to record demo’s of their songs, however life’s challenges continued to confront the group delaying their progress. In 2020 when the covid lockdowns hit Victoria the band took it as an opportunity to record their debut studio album. As a duo they have covered all the bases of a 5 piece band with Nathan on rhythm, lead and bass guitar. Whilst Xavier is on drums, percussion, lead and backing vocals. Sweet Arrow’s mantra is strength through adversity.
