We really like this band’s music, so one review just didn’t feel like enough. That’s why we’re back writing about their latest release “Johatsu”, and we absolutely love it.
This track is a bit calmer compared to “Home”. It’s softer, more laid back, but still keeps that same simple and catchy sound they’re good at. The melody kind of pulls you in slowly and nothing is too loud. Just smooth and easy to sit with. It’s the kind of song you just let it play. It’s fun and easy.
The vocals really stand out here. We really like their vocal deliveries and the way they play with tones. The band’s singers carry a lot of the weight of the track. The tones, the way the lyrics land, it all sounds natural and smooth. We really enjoyed that part a lot.
Even when the instrumentation builds up and sounds fuller, it never loses that simple feeling. Everything fits together nicely without getting messy. Honestly, we just love this band’s sound at this point. “Johatsu” is another strong release and it shows they know what they’re doing. We’d definitely like to keep featuring them again if they keep putting out music like this.
