MALCANTHEARYOU – Control

MALCANTHEARYOU just dropped her debut single, “Control” and it’s one of those songs that instantly feels bigger than just music. Mal is an Orlando-based artist who was born deaf, something that could’ve kept her from chasing music, but instead, she turned it into her strength. That energy shows in every second of this track.

“Control” is about reclaiming power when others try to bring you down. The lyrics hit hard and feel personal, dealing with fake friends, bullies, and the choice to take back control of your own story. The chorus is bold and memorable and her voice carries a mix of raw passion and confidence that makes you want to sing along. There’s also something really cool about the production, it’s simple but sharp with clapping woven in that gives the track a real pulse and keeps it alive.

Mal’s delivery is truly impressive. She moves between power and vulnerability in a way that feels real and almost like she’s letting us in on her own fight. It doesn’t sound like a debut at all, it sounds polished, full of personality, and ready for bigger stages.

We think this track is a strong introduction to an artist who’s not just making music but proving that nothing is impossible. Her voice, her story, and her passion shine through in a way that feels inspiring. We love how this track makes us feel both hyped and connected, and it’s safe to say we’ll be keeping an eye on everything she does next.
