Julian Hunt just dropped a new single called “Our Plans Can Wait”, and this one is easy to get into from the first listen. It’s a bright, synth-pop kind of track, but not in an overdone way. It feels light, fun, and kind of honest at the same time.
What really stood out to us straight away was his voice. It’s catchy, smooth, and has that tone that sticks in your head. The melodies follow that same vibe, simple but really effective and they stay with you after the song ends. It’s the kind of track you replay without even thinking about it.
The production here is seriously clean and everything feels well put together, from the synth sounds to the layered vocals. The instrumental has a nice flow and it fits his voice perfectly, like it was all built around it. There’s also this nice atmosphere going on, almost like late-night city energy, lights, people, movement. It just works.
The song is about letting go a bit, living in the moment, and enjoying connection instead of stressing about what’s next. You can feel that Pride energy in it too, but it’s not forced. It’s more about joy, freedom, and just being yourself without overthinking it.
It’s also worth saying that the sound design is really solid. You can tell there was care put into every detail, even small ones. It’s polished but still feels real, which isn’t always easy to balance. We really enjoyed this one. It’s catchy, well-made, and just easy to listen to without getting boring. Julian Hunt is clearly building his sound in a strong way and if this is the direction he’s going, we’re definitely here for it.
