Josh Raines – Daydreaming

Josh Raines just dropped his new single “Daydreaming”. It’s an amazing experience and it’s honestly one of those songs that feels easy to get into from the first listen. It’s catchy, it’s warm, and yeah, it talks about some heavy stuff like depression, but it never drags you down.

The first thing that stood out to us was the melody. It’s smooth and sticks in your head. The chorus is the real hook and we found ourselves replaying it more than expected. His voice has a nice tone too, kind of soft but still clear, and it fits the production really well. Speaking of production, it’s got a polished feel but not in a boring way. The sound and atmosphere give the track a bit of space to breathe. The instruments sit nicely behind his vocals and everything just works together. It’s simple but done right.

The lyrics are great and there’s honesty in how he talks about mental struggles and that kind of “busy head” feeling. But instead of making it dark, he keeps it light enough so you can still vibe with it. That balance is not easy to get right, but he does it here. We like how this track doesn’t pretend to be something huge or dramatic. It just feels real, a bit emotional, a bit catchy and easy to come back to again and again.
