Heye Comfy just dropped his new single, “Turkish Tea” and this is his first release of 2026. We covered him earlier this year, so it’s good to see him back already and still trying new things.
The first thing that stands out is the instrumental. It’s smooth, kind of calm, nothing too loud or overdone and it fits his voice really well. We like his taste in instrumentals. The mixing is excellent and everything was put in the right place. You can just sit with it and enjoy the sound.
Comfy has always moved between styles, and you can hear that again here. There’s Hip Hop and RnB in the base, but he doesn’t stay stuck there. The sound is a bit wider this time, maybe more relaxed too.
His delivery is what really pulled us in. There’s confidence in how he says things and it’s not forced at all. It’s smooth and natural. The hook is simple but sticks, and the flow is dope. He is not trying to show off, just doing what works.
We’ve said it before, but Comfy is becoming one of those artists we keep coming back to. There’s something easy about his style, but still interesting enough to stay. Overall, this one just works. We enjoyed it and we’ll probably keep spinning it for a while.
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
My name is Heye Comfy aka Comfy for short. I was born and raised in Stamford, CT. My musical journey started in middle school. I had two older brothers with very different tastes in music, so I was introduced to 50 cent, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, and Eminem at an early age. I also grew up listening to a lot of reggae, being that my dad is Jamaican. Listening to these artists and genres made me fall in love with music. I used to sneak into my older brother’s room to use his recording software and that’s how I learned how to engineer my own music.
More recently, I started taking music seriously after the passing of my mother due to Covid. The death of my mother was kind of a wakeup call. It taught me that life is short and there’s no time to waste. So now I use that as inspiration and motivation to take care of the family.
When I’m not making music, I’m a very chill guy. I like to hide away from the crowd and go on nature walks and hikes. I enjoy anything that brings peace and tranquility. I am a very humble and easy-going person. I don’t need much to be happy or have a good time.
