Beranek and EL/NeUe are back again with a new single called “Dieter Rams Palette”, and this one is really thought through from the first few seconds. It’s not trying too hard, it just sounds clean and well-built, like everything sits where it should.
The track leans heavy into electronic sounds, but not in a random or messy way. The synths are smooth, kind of soft but still detailed, and the beats keep things moving but not in a loud or aggressive way. There’s also a lot going on in the background if you listen close, small layers and textures that make the whole thing feel richer. It’s the kind of production that shows experience and skills.
The vocals are great and blend nicely with everything else. Nothing over the top, just steady and calm, pulling you deeper into the track. That’s probably one of the strongest parts here, how everything works together in a smooth way. It creates this nice slightly dreamy atmosphere that sticks with you and you’ll like it.
The idea behind the song is also interesting. It’s inspired by Dieter Rams, a famous designer known for his simple and functional style. You can kind of hear that idea in the music too. It’s minimal in a smart way, not empty, just focused. All production ideas connect perfectly with the sound choices.
This is their fourth track together, and it really sounds like they understand each other at this point. We think this is a solid release. It’s not trying to be a big hit, but it does its own thing really well, and that’s what makes it stand out a bit more. We are excited to hear more from these talented artists!
