taein. is back with her new single “…mm?” and it’s a nice little track with catchy melodies and easy likes which we really liked. It leans into alt R&B with some soft electronic touches but the way it’s put together is quite free and a bit unpredictable in a good way.
The atmosphere is catchy and probably the best part here. It has this dreamy, slightly random feeling, like thoughts drifting around without a clear direction. The production is clean and simple, but there are enough small details to keep things interesting. The beat is great and it makes the song easy to sit with, even on repeat.
Her vocals fit perfectly into this style. taein. has a soft tone that is soft and relaxed and she doesn’t overdo anything. The melodies are catchy but still feel personal, almost like she’s just letting ideas flow. That’s what makes the song stick after a few listens.
