Wonderlick’s new single, “Rhinoceros” is a bold and refreshing track that instantly grabs your attention. From the first note, you can hear the passion and energy this duo puts into their music. The vocals are strong and full of emotion, making every word feel powerful and meaningful. The lyrics dive deep but the way they’re delivered feels natural and honest.
The production on this song is top-notch. Every element, whether it’s the drums or guitars, blends together perfectly. The song feels both polished and creative with a sound that’s big yet personal. It’s catchy in a way that sticks with you after just one listen.
What stands out the most is how this duo manages to create an atmosphere that’s unique but still easy to connect with. The melodies are smooth, the instrumentation is sharp and everything feels carefully crafted without losing its natural vibe.
We really love how they continue to show their passion for meaningful songwriting while keeping their sound fresh and exciting. “Rhinoceros” is the kind of song that makes us want to hit repeat and we definitely will.
ABOUT THE BAND:

Wonderlick’s two founding members, Jay Blumenfield and Tim Quirk, came together in December 2000 to record free music for a website. The two had previously performed together under different guises (most notably as one half of the smart punk-pop outfit ), but this new project resulted in a concept album that was crafted over the course of a year. Using the Internet, Wonderlick released free individual songs from the project until the album was finished, and included friends such as Spark vocalist Wendy Allen and magician in the process. The album was ultimately released by Future Farmer Recordings in 2002, followed seven years later by the duo’s second effort, Topless at the Arco Arena. ~ Bradley Torreano, Rovi
