We are super excited to share with you this beautiful track, “The Wallace Line,” by talented guitarist Stuart Ironside. “The Wallace Line” is the title track of Stuart’s latest album and it’s one of the best tracks we’ve heard in months.
This whole album is beautiful and deserves more attention. Each track has its own distinct vibe – perfect for a good set of headphones. We listened to “The Wallace Line” several times, and we still can’t find the right words to describe it. From the guitar work to the melody, you can tell that Stuart’s musical style comes from a genuine place. Something we always look for when discovering a new artist. Stuart Ironside’s skills are impressive and his music is creative and deserves to be heard by all people around the world. The track and the project are a great experience from start to finish and really some good stuff to listen to all day long. This artist has a distinctive sound and it stands out. You can’t get enough of it honestly.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Stuart Ironside is a guitarist combining classical technique with a distinct mix of influences to create a unique musical language.
Stuart began his studies at Cardiff University, majoring in classical guitar performance while also studying Javanese Gamelan, West African guitar and Folk music. These experiences led Stuart to explore music outside of the Western Canon, and find ways to play them on the classical guitar. In 2021 Stuart began a Masters degree in performance at SOAS, specialising in West African music, to dive further into this mix of musics.
Stuart has been sharing his arrangements and compositions with audiences for the last three years to an incredibly positive reception. He has been mentored by some of the most innovative classical guitarists in the world today, along with expert Gamelan, kora and Folk players.
