ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Growing up, Rue Rue sang and played the piano since she was five. She studied classical singing, actively performed live, and had her first songwriting deal in 2018 in her home country, Indonesia. Her pursuit of an MA in Music Business at NYU (2024 graduate) exposed her to the US music scene, music production skills, collaborations, and her debut as an artist in 2023. Her influences include classical music, from her engagement in ballet at a young age and classical singing training. She is a big musical theatre fan, which has shaped her music immensely from classical-leaning to jazz and the contemporary side of that world.
