Mari Clare – Obsession

Mari Clare just dropped a new single called “Obsession”, and honestly it fits right into the bright high-energy pop space she’s been building over the last few releases.

The track moves fast. Sugar-rush pop. Big chorus. Clean guitars and punchy drums pushing everything forward. It’s one of those songs that doesn’t wait around too long before getting to the hook, and when the chorus lands it really sticks.

The idea behind the song is simple but interesting. It looks at a quiet kind of fixation, someone watching from the background, turning small moments into something bigger in their head. Not dark exactly, more like late-night thoughts that start to spiral a bit.

Mari Clare’s voice is truly special. It’s clear, catchy, and easy to sit with. The instrumental is polished but still light enough to let the melody lead. Then the chorus hits again and everything opens up. Guitars, drums, vocals all pushing together. Loud. Fun.

We’ve always enjoyed writing about Mari Clare’s music, and this one might be her most energetic release so far. The hook sticks around in your head longer than expected. If she keeps building on this bright pop style and those huge choruses, there’s a lot more coming. This track already sounds like a step forward.
