ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Macatier is Dan Dudek–Brown, a DIY indie-punk musician based in Bristol, UK. Over the years, he’s shared stages with acts like Saves the Day, Brand New, The Xcerts, and Jim Lockey.
Drawing influence from The Gaslight Anthem, Jamie T, and The White Stripes, Macatier began crafting his sound in 2012, blending acoustic guitar, punk rock, and indie into a unique style. Since then, he’s self-released four EPs, racked up thousands of streams, and played over 100 shows.
His debut EP, A Year From Now, dropped in 2012, followed by The Outside World in 2013. 2014 brought This Boat is Definitely Sinking, which earned positive reviews. In 2020, Macatier released his debut album Native Noise to critical acclaim. In 2023, he returned with Dark Patterns, an EP that pushes his sound further into darker, electronic-tinged territory while retaining his signature acoustic roots.
Macatier new track ‘Fade Away,’ blending the raw energy of post-punk with the atmospheric vibes of synthpop. This release marks the first glimpse of his upcoming full-length EP, set to arrive this summer.
