Experienced and talented artist Luke Frees grabbed our attention with his latest release “Most Of The Time,” and It’s without a doubt one of the best records we’ve heard in months and we are excited to share it with you!

The minute we heard Luke’s voice, we fell in love with it and couldn’t get it out of our heads. He has one of the richest voices we’ve ever heard, and his vocal abilities are truly impressive. The production of this song is beautifully simple and there is a great level of songwriting that shines through this record. The chorus is catchy and will get stuck in your head for days. The instrumental is beautiful, and the recording quality is interesting. We really love Luke Frees’ musical skills and writing style and can’t wait to see where his career will go over the coming months.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Luke Frees is a songwriter, performer, photographer, and producer based in Chicago. After years of writing songs on his own and with various bands, Luke studied songwriting and production at Berklee College of Music. Luke wrote, recorded, and produced a solo EP in early 2017, entitled After the Rain, which was heavily influenced by David Bowie and Nick Cave. In the fall of 2017, Luke formed a band called The Cotones with three friends from school. Their debut album, Imaginary Friends, was released in March of 2020 on Upsurge Records. His first full-length solo album, The Lost Weekend, was released on May 5, 2019. Luke released his sophomore solo album, Some Easy Blood, in October of 2020, after the breakup of The Cotones. This album draws influences from artists like Tom Waits and The Cure, and tells the narrative of a collapsing relationship against the backdrop of the Coronavirus Pandemic. His third album, Point Of You, was released on November 26th of 2021. The singles included the singalong party song called “She’s A Chameleon;” a song about moving, “Harder To Stay;” a power pop love song, “You Wouldn’t Know;” and a song about going to see a show in L.A. with someone you love called “Secondhand City.” In 2022 Luke began releasing a string of singles, starting with “Gimme Some Time (To Prove U Wrong)” and “Climbing.” His next single, “Love Song No. 125,” was released on September 2nd.
