ABOUT THE BAND:

Out of Queensland’s Sunshine Coast comes Lazy Guns. For fans of The Dandy Warhols, Oasis, and Jet, this is the 2000s rock revival you’ve been longing for.

Made up of three brothers and their father, the band was born out of the family’s love of rock. Brothers JackSam, and Ryan watched their dad Richard, play with Melbourne’s Shotsekter throughout their childhood, and, inspired, picked up their own instruments as young as 12 years of age.

Lazy Guns officially hit the scene in mid 2018 and have since been honing their craft of music layered with crunchy guitars, catchy lyrics, and pounding backline reminiscent of legendary bands like Green Day, Foo Fighters, and AC/DC. With the release of their debut single ‘Runaway’, choosing the band name was not an easy task! It took 4 years, writing their 12 song album, and Jet’s 2003 track ‘Lazy Gun’ to settle on the namesake. Recorded at Glasshouse Studios with Angus Woodhead, their album titled ‘Waste My Breath’ is set to release in 2023.
