Latin Faculty – So Nice

Latin Faculty’s new single, “So Nice” is exactly that, so nice. This light and beautiful track immediately grabbed my attention and held it the entire way through. It’s soft, charming and full of ease, making it a perfect soundtrack for a quiet morning or a peaceful evening.

Led by the award-winning vocalist Rebekka Blöndal, the performance is clean and full of heart. Her voice feels pure and calming and it matches the smooth and bossanova-inspired style of the song perfectly. The guitar work is especially beautiful with a delicate touch that gives the song a timeless feel.

Written by Icelandic composer Ingvi Þór Kormáksson, the song carries that cool and early-60s jazz vibe without trying too hard. The lyrics are light but meaningful, capturing a relaxed way of life with lines like “just a way of life / sitting on a bench”. It all feels very peaceful and honest. The production is simple but professional, which really lets the melodies and vocals shine. The band’s chemistry as a collective comes through clearly and it’s exciting to hear how well they balance such an elegant, polished sound.

We really love this song. It’s the kind of track that instantly puts you in a good mood. Everything from the lyrics to the vocals to the melody works together in such a smooth and memorable way. We can’t wait to hear more from Latin Faculty when the new album drops in 2026.
