ABOUT THE ARTIST:
KG is an established UK artist with a charisma and talent like no other. He has racked up a lot of success from his time as the frontman, lead singer and founder of 90s R&B/Pop group MN8. The group was notable for being the first UK boyband to break into global success alongside contemporaries such as East 17, Take That and Boyzone. KG reached great heights with his band mates via Sony, Columbia and Work Group labels. Their biggest song ‘I’ve Got A Little Something For You’ performed outstandingly in various charts; including number 2 on the UK Top 40; number 1 on UK R&B charts; and top 10 in 16 other countries such as France, Australia and New Zealand. The band also went on to release many more hits, and as a result, KG has performed among influential names like Janet Jackson, Spice Girls, Ricky Martin, Backstreet Boys, Jon B, Alexander O’Neal, Luther Vandross, Horace Brown and Madonna. Since the band’s hiatus, KG has been working on his own sound to take him to the top as a solo act. Unfortunately, while living in Australia, the progression of his career was put on hold, due to a lengthy bout with ill health. Later on, his dad would pass away, leaving the singer with a newfound drive to succeed after everything he’d been through.
