One of those tracks that grabs your attention from the first listen, Heye Comfy’s new single “Enemies” is a good one. This song has it all, with its beautiful rhythm, rich vocals, and infectious hook. Comfy’s honest lyrics paired with haunting melodies make for an emotional and sad atmosphere.
The song is drawn from a deeply personal place. Comfy tells us that “Enemies” was written about a past relationship that was too much to handle. He says he still loved the person, but the love wasn’t being returned, so he lost himself in the process. That raw honesty is what makes this track hit so hard. Every line feels the pain and reflection.
The production is top notch. The instrumental is great and flows well with Comfy’s vocal performance. His voice is rich and captivating, adding an edge to the song that makes you want to come back for more. The verses are touching and the hook will get stuck in your head in no time. But what we really love about this artist is his unique sound and impressive vocal abilities. It’s a song you can blast in your car, sing along to in your room, or put on your favorite playlist.
We think Comfy has done something really special with this release. The music is simple and the honesty in his storytelling is perfect. “Enemies” isn’t just a song, it’s a feeling that anyone who’s ever been in a situation where you love someone who feels out of reach can relate to. This artist is on the rise and we can’t wait to hear what he does next, so we’ll definitely be keeping an eye on Heye Comfy’s future releases.
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
My name is Heye Comfy aka Comfy for short. I was born and raised in Stamford, CT. My musical journey started in middle school. I had two older brothers with very different tastes in music, so I was introduced to 50 cent, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, and Eminem at an early age. I also grew up listening to a lot of reggae, being that my dad is Jamaican. Listening to these artists and genres made me fall in love with music. I used to sneak into my older brother’s room to use his recording software and that’s how I learned how to engineer my own music.
More recently, I started taking music seriously after the passing of my mother due to Covid. The death of my mother was kind of a wakeup call. It taught me that life is short and there’s no time to waste. So now I use that as inspiration and motivation to take care of the family.
When I’m not making music, I’m a very chill guy. I like to hide away from the crowd and go on nature walks and hikes. I enjoy anything that brings peace and tranquility. I am a very humble and easy-going person. I don’t need much to be happy or have a good time.
