Haven West Veraguas’s new single “All I’ve Got” may be short, but it hits deep. Lasting just 1 minute and 20 seconds, this track manages to leave a lasting impression. The emotional weight of the lyrics paired with a smooth and creative production, makes it feel much longer, in the best way.
Built around themes of empathy, helplessness and survivor’s guilt, the song captures the feeling of wanting to help others even when you’re barely holding on yourself. Haven’s warm and powerful voice carries the message beautifully and the layered vocal effects add a dreamlike quality. The lyrics are honest and raw, especially the line, “It’s not much but it’s all I’ve got”.
It’s rare to find a song this brief that still tells such a full story. Haven wrote, performed, and produced everything himself and you can feel the care in every second. We’ve already hit replay several times. This is one of those songs that proves less really can be more. We’re excited to see what Haven does next.
ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Haven West Veraguas is a 22 year old writer, singer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist from Massachusetts. Despite his homogenous suburban roots, he set off on an international excursion to sonically embody the wild diversity of human emotion, interest, and expression. Currently based in London, his expansive love of nearly every style produces pieces crafted irrespective of genre:
Pieces that leave you reminiscing your first time hearing the soft subtleties of classical piano~ Tracks that take you back to the ballistic late nights of haphazard clubbing~ New songs that foster old memories through their modern-vintage fusion~
Music that has a little bit of home for everyone <3
And a little extra fun fact is that I did everything myself, including writing, recording, performing, producing, mixing, and mastering 🙂
