ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Eddie boy is a Mexico City born and raised, Los Angeles based singer songwriter and producer. Growing up in a family where there were no other musicians yet many music lovers, he was influenced by the vast collection of records his parents enjoyed and many generations and styles of music. Around the age of 5 he was mesmerized by classical piano recordings with the timeless compositions of Chopin and Rachmaninoff but it was until his teenage years when he found his passion for pop music and music production. He’s been pursuing that passion ever since, creating pop songs getting inspiration form the danceable rhythms of the 70s and 80s, as well as the power ballads of the 90s and 2000s. His Latin-American upbringing absolutely makes an appearance in his music, combining traditional rhythms from Mexico with the lively sounds of the Caribbean.
Eddie Boy also produces for other artists and his work has been recognized by the Grammys among other publications. He has amassed over 3 millions plays with his work with up and coming Mexican-American artist Kordelya, Jesse Baez, Georgel, Sobrino, Leonel Garcia, Ariza and several other names in the Latin–American pop scene.
He is currently working on his debut album which is set to release in 2023 with multiple releases set to drop in the following months.
