Dugesia is the latest band to land on our radar, and we’re so happy they did. Their debut single, “You’re Wrong” is a song that you’ll enjoy more and more after every listen. It’s one of the best and most memorable songs we’ve heard in months and really deserves more attention.
The first few seconds of this song will be enough to have you hooked for a long time. The instrumentation is amazing and the atmosphere of this record is unique. The melodies are catchy and the vocalist has one of the richest voices we’ve ever heard. His vocal performance is professional and the lyrics are original and well-written. We really love the production and the instruments, sure, but most importantly… what really pulled us in was this band’s distinctive and smart writing style.
Regardless of what you’re a fan of, this band brings a great variety of styles and tastes to their music that will not only demand your attention but keep you coming back for more. ABOUT THE BAND:
Dugesia are a 3 piece Alternative Rock band who have come together through a mutual love of 90’s rock music. Their debut single “You’re Wrong” released on the 21st of October, 2022 is a guitar and bass driven rock song which encapsulates the identity of the band. Dugesia consists of lead singer and guitarist Niall Mannion, bass player Michael Daly and drummer Jake Dooley who all share a passion for creating and recording original rock music having played together as a live band over the years. Dugesia are working on new material and plan to release an EP in the coming months to follow debut single “You’re Wrong”.
