David Graham – Insanity vs Reality

David Graham’s new album “Insanity vs Reality” marks a clear chapter. Not a record that tries to impress, but one that shows where he is now. The album moves less like a polished pop statement and more like a personal journal that happens to be well put together.

What stands out first is the voice. Powerful. It carries the project without forcing anything, and the delivery stays honest from track to track. You can tell these songs weren’t written quickly. The storytelling is personal, sometimes direct, sometimes quiet, but always human. Tracks about self-belief, loss, and doubt unfold in a way that feels connected, like each song knows why it exists.

The production is polished, but restrained. The soundscape is cinematic and warm, with layered arrangements that let each song breathe. Nothing crowds the vocals. The mix is clear. The melodies stick. Simple things, done carefully. There’s a sense of momentum across the album, helped by how paced it is from start to finish.

What also matters here is intent. This project doesn’t try to chase anything. It just allows emotion to lead, using modern tools to support ideas that have clearly lived with the artist for a long time. It feels complete. And honestly, our takeaway is simple: we enjoyed how real it sounds, and how confidently David Graham lets his voice and words carry the journey.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Writer and content creator from the north-east of England. I write from the heart, and love telling a story with music, which is what I always try to do. Due to hand and wrist injuries, I write the lyrics myself and then most often create a beat using an acoustic guitar or an electric piano, then create the final product using AI as I can’t use my hands to play instruments much anymore. I guess you could say that makes me a lyricist and an AI music composer. Hope you enjoy my music!
