Conversation With Shloob

Q: Can you tell us a bit about yourself and how your childhood impacted your musical direction?

A:  – my childhood was a very fortunate one. my mom allowed me and my twin to be as creative as possible. my big brother showed me his fav rappers and i just picked it up since then. i never wanted to make music until i was 20 tho.

Q: How are you planning on growing your fan base and sharing your music with the world? What message do you have for anyone who is about to discover “shloob”?

A:  – i just plan on being authentic. idk how you grow honestly. it’s hard to be transparent.  its weird. i have experience around the world. i have fans. it just doesn’t jus hit online for me. i have no budget and no label so maybe i need real help.

im everyone favorites to be around. i don’t have an evil bone in me. i just love fly shit and funny people. hopefully that and consistent music will help me out.

Q: Who is the most inspiring artist for you right now? And where do you find inspiration for making music?

A: – i wanted something i can yell on stage.  everyone knows what the 5 senses are. all 5 of mine have been tingling like spideys. wanna start a mosh pit based on the idea of getting to the next level. punch someone about success.

Q: How would you describe your sound in one word for potential listeners?

A: – vast but very unique. im like the grown up lil brother. i love the soundcloud rap. i love the OG’s. im a blend of it all. but rap is my thing. and style. style af. i don’t waste words. i switch up flows. cadences. beats. all that.

Q: Did you face any challenges while writing or recording “5 senses”?

A: yes the “woo” “ahh” was  a task. got light headed  yelling. had to get my twin to help.
