Conversation With Noodle

Q: Can you tell us a bit about yourself and how your childhood impacted your musical direction?

A: My name is Jimmy Lee and I am a 20 year old rapper. As a child I was introduced into all types of genres of music. I grew up in church, which gave me a deep love for more vocal and passionate music. My dad listened to rap mostly. Rap broaden my musical selections, the different artists, with different styles, telling different stories. That impacted me the most on my music journey.

A: I would definitely be Switching. It was the first song I recorded for the album, and it was my return to rapping instead of singing.

A: Broke most definitely. It’s a completely different vibe than any other song. It’s me telling my story about the struggles of grown up slightly less than, then me evolving into the man I am today.

Q: Exploring the diverse creative processes within the music industry is always fascinating. Could you provide insight into Noodle’s unique approach to crafting music? From the initial spark of an idea to the finished song, how do you navigate the creative journey and bring its musical concepts to life?

A: For the most part once I hear a beat that I like, I can decide where to take it. If I want to do a hook on the song, or if I want to do just verses. I do get help from my engineer and my sister for the writing process. In the end it’s mostly just bouncing ideas off of each other, until we come to a good consensus.

Q: As we wrap up our conversation, looking ahead, what aspirations or dreams do you have for Noodle, and what message would you like to share with your fans as they continue to accompany you on this musical journey?

A: My biggest dream for Noodle is being in a position where everyone around me is able to live comfortably, and not have to worry about bills, rent, payments, etc etc. To my fans and supporters, I ask that they stay solid, and never switch up on me.
