Conversation With NOISE

Q: Can you tell us a bit about yourself and how your childhood impacted your musical direction?

A: Growing up together and being surrounded by different musical influences, our childhoods have significantly shaped the unique sound of NOISE and with a wide range of musical exposure, we’ve crafted a distinct style that seamlessly integrates various genres, reflecting our shared experiences and personal journeys. Our sound can be described as a dynamic fusion of indie rock with intricate, thought-provoking lyrics and captivating melodies. Drawing from a rich tapestry of musical inspiration, we aim to create an immersive and emotive experience for our listeners, channeling our collective passion and diverse backgrounds into a narrative that resonates on a deeper level.

Q: How are you planning on growing your fan base and sharing your music with the world? What message do you have for anyone who is about to discover “NOISE”?

A: We’re really focused on connecting with our fans through engaging performances and using social media to reach a wider audience. For anyone just discovering our music, we want them to know that our songs are about shared experiences and emotions, and we hope they resonate with them in a personal way.

Q: Who is the most inspiring artist for you right now? And where do you find inspiration for making music?

A: We’re all inspired by a mix of different artists, each bringing something unique to our creative process. Our inspiration comes from everywhere, from classic literature to personal experiences, and the diverse cultural influences that surround us.

Q: Can you tell us about the story or message behind the EP, “Not Until Tomorrow Night”?

A: “Not Until Tomorrow Night” is all about exploring the connection between nostalgia and the present, reimagining classic literary works in a modern context. The EP is really about highlighting how timeless themes can still have a profound impact on our lives today.

Q: How would you describe your sound in one word for potential listeners?

A: Evocative.

Q: Did you face any challenges while writing or recording “Not Until Tomorrow Night”?

A: As a band and as individuals we get on very well and so far haven’t struggled when it comes to creating songs. While the process of song-writing and recording in the studio can be quite intense, it wasn’t necessarily a challenge and is actually something we really enjoy doing. There’s something nice about locking yourself away from the world in a studio and having nothing but music on your agenda and on your mind.

Q: What is the message of your music? And what are your goals as an artist?

A: Our music is all about tapping into the shared emotions and experiences that connect us all. As artists, we want to keep creating music that resonates with people on a deeper level, fostering that sense of connection and understanding through our songs. Like any band, we hope to do this for fans across the globe.

Q: Who is your dream artist to collaborate with? (dead or alive)

A: Collaborating with an artist like Radiohead or Arctic Monkeys would be an absolute dream for us, given the impact they have had on us and our generation. It’s hard to think of a band in the last 20 or 30 years that have been more influential in the UK than those two.

Q: What is your advice for people interested in pursuing music as a career or for those trying to enter the industry?

A: We’d say to stick true to your unique voice and vision, and to keep honing your craft. Embrace every opportunity for growth and collaboration, and always stay passionate and persistent in the face of the ever-evolving and ever-challenging music industry.

Q: If you could go back in time and give a younger you some words of wisdom, what would they be?

A: We’d probably say to trust in the creative process, to embrace every step of the journey with an open mind, and to learn from both the highs and the lows. It’s all part of the growth as both an artist and an individual.
