Conversation With Final Thirteen

Q: Can you tell us a bit about yourself and how your childhood impacted your musical direction?

A: Ax – “We want to tour as much as possible. We have a great show, and we want to interact with our fans and win new ones. My favorite bands were ones I discovered whilst seeing somebody else, and sometimes bands I had misjudged, based just on record, but you needed to see the shows to really get the music and what they were about. A message? It would have to be, fuck the first twelve.”

Q: Who is the most inspiring artist for you right now? And where do you find inspiration for making music?

A: Avenged sevenfold-Doobes

Q: Can you tell us about the story or message behind the song, “Why You Sacrifice Me Now.”?

A: body and soul connected to death and the cosmos- Doobes

Q: How would you describe your sound in one word for potential listeners?

A: unpredictable

Q: Who is your dream artist to collaborate with? (dead or alive)

A: Without doubt Keith Flint, I’m a huge fan I love his music his energy and his persona as a whole

Q: What is your advice for people interested in pursuing music as a career or for those trying to enter the industry?

A: “Do it for the love of music not the money, so many talented folks end up spending their nights playing in soul destroying wedding bands, purely because they wanted a quick buck. By all means if your happy regurgitating other people’s music follow the dollar” Jd

Q: If you could go back in time and give a younger you some words of wisdom, what would they be?

A: Ax – “Ohmygawd, I really struggle with this one. Em, I don’t think I would tell my younger self anything. You have to ride the wave, and mine’s been a strange one. Like me and my younger self would get on so well right now but then again not. I think she would be angry at me, but that would be because I had a lot to learn. And to be fair, there would be absolutely no talking to her! Lol Hahahahahhaa.”
