Conversation With Brainheart

Q: Can you tell us a bit about yourself and how your childhood impacted your musical direction?

A:  I am a music producer, songwriter, and DJ.

My mom used to listen to classical and orchestral music. This music touched my soul immediately. I got addicted to the instruments and melodies. Over the years, music saved my life so many times. I struggled a lot in school. Loneliness and emptiness are heavier than people can ever imagine. People couldn’t understand me, or help me and music was there for me in my darkest times. I grew up and I fell in love with more genres, especially EDM. There is something special about electronic music. I taught myself how to play piano at the age of 15 and a year later, I decided to produce music. Youtube was my teacher. I still have a lot to learn, and I am getting better every day.

Q: How are you planning on growing your fan base and sharing your music with the world? What message do you have for anyone who is about to discover Brainheart?

A: The goal for 2023 is to get an artist visa; I really want to move to the US. I believe that I will have many more opportunities there to develop my music career. Unfortunately, it’s very complicated, but I believe that one day I’ll get it. I will keep making music and touching people’s hearts and souls. I want to keep growing my socials and fanbase. I want to evolve and become a better version of myself – as a musician and as a person.

The message I have for anyone who is about to discover Brainheart is that they are not ready for what’s coming…

Give me a few years, I’ve got some big plans.

Q: Who is the most inspiring artist for you right now? And where do you find inspiration for making music?

A: I have so many inspirations, in the EDM industry and outside. Avicii, Coldplay, ILLENIUM, Bad Omens, Bring Me The Horizon The Script, Calvin Harris (the old stuff), Ed Sheeran, Martin Garrix, Jon Bellion, Said The Sky, and many more…

I get inspiration from so many things, but I think the most powerful sources of inspiration come from traveling, movies, and music festivals/concerts.

Q: You just released your new EP, “The Strange Kids”. What inspired the writing and recording processes for this EP?

A: I created this EP with my best friend Dorel; he is the best singer I know. First, we decided to create just one song together. The process was so fun, and we were so happy with the result, so we decided to create a full EP together. This EP means a lot to us; we created these songs from the depth of our souls.

Q: How would you describe your sound in one word for potential listeners?

A: Unpredictable

Q: Is there a possible album being worked on? Any tea to spill on the release date or name?

A: Actually not, I just released my EP and I think I prefer to focus on singles.

I’ll keep releasing songs and one day I’ll work on an album for sure.

I am working with so many talented singers right now and I can’t wait to share all my projects with the world.

Q: What is the message of your music? And what are your goals as an artist?

A: I want to make people happy, emotional, and motivated.

I want my music to be the light in the darkness for people.

I’m a huge fan of motivational songs. Sometimes I write about love, traveling, and other things, but motivational songs are my favorite.

Even though I’m young, I have gone through a lot of bad times, and motivational songs have always helped me. That’s why I want to create music that motivates people, helps them overcome hard times, and helps them with mental health.

My goal is to create music that will last forever in people’s hearts and affect the way they see life.

I want to make a lasting impact and be an inspiration for many generations to come.

Q: Who is your dream artist to collaborate with? (dead or alive)

A: I have so many… I wish I could work with Coldplay, OneRepublic, Ed Sheeran, Adelle, The Script, Tori Kelly, Avicii, Bad Omens, Bring Me The Horizon, or Dermot Kennedy. I love them so much, each artist has a piece in my heart.

Q: What is your advice for people interested in pursuing music as a career or for those trying to enter the industry?

A: The mindset is the most important part. Always remember that life is fragile, and we only live once. We don’t have to obey. We don’t have to conform to an ideology that is placed upon our shoulders just because someone says so. No matter who you are, you can have a voice, and you can have a say. You can break the rules. Dare to dream big and set your goals high.

Q: If you could go back in time and give a younger you some words of wisdom, what would they be?

A: Every time you fail, you come one step closer to success. I know it sounds crazy, but this is the truth. The world works in mysterious ways. If you have any plans or tiny little ideas in your head of who you want to be, where you want to go, or what you want to do, just make your own rules, don’t take no for an answer, listen to your gut, and have endless belief in yourself. The prize is the fulfillment of reaching your destiny. And your destiny is the most important thing. Trust the process, have faith in the future, and trust life.
