Caitlin Lavagna is back with her new single, “October” and it’s an emotional journey you won’t want to miss. The music video opens with the soothing sound of waves crashing, instantly creating a calm vibe as Caitlin sits on rocks, pen in hand. This sets the scene for a reflective song, where she sings “October used to be my favorite month, because of you.” From the very first line, you’re pulled in and as her soulful voice mixes with gentle guitar strums and soft piano chords, you know you’re in for something special.
Caitlin’s vocals are powerful yet pure, drawing you in with every word. Her performance feels genuine, carrying a heartfelt honesty that makes the song even more relatable. The lyrics are simple and touching, reminding listeners of the way certain memories and people can shape a whole season. Caitlin’s voice flows effortlessly, showcasing her vocal strength and control and the instrumentals beautifully complement her style, with each note adding to the song’s warmth and depth.
What we love most about this song is Caitlin’s ability to keep it real. There’s no overproduction or flashiness, just a beautiful, honest song that makes you feel every lyric. Caitlin’s heartfelt delivery and her natural connection to the music make this song one we could listen to on repeat and it’s perfect for anyone needing a bit of calm and reflection as fall settles in.
