Amelle Rose – Liar

Amelle Rose has done it again with her new single “Liar”. This track is a blend of haunting melodies, powerful vocals and raw emotion. From the very first note, you’re drawn into the intense atmosphere she creates. Amelle has a rich voice that carries so much emotion and it’s on full display here. Her lyrics are brutally honest, confronting deep feelings of betrayal and abandonment. The chorus is powerful and the instrumentation behind it complements her voice perfectly, creating a memorable experience.

What we love most about “Liar” is how it captures the emotional wreckage when trust is broken and you can feel the depth of her pain and frustration as she navigates these complex feelings, turning them into something beautiful. The song’s raw intensity is a testament to her ability to transform personal struggles into universally relatable art.

In our opinion, “Liar” is one of Amelle Rose’s most heartfelt and moving songs. The combination of her haunting melodies, emotional depth and powerful chorus makes this a must-listen. It’s the kind of song that stays with you long after it ends and will definitely earn a spot in your playlist 🙂

ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Transforming song into a powerfully introspective and atmospheric experience, Amelle Rose is able to navigate dreamy soundscapes inspired by deeply intimate memories and experiences, alongside gutsy indie rock songs that take advantage of fiercely honest lyrics and a distinctive, rebellious sound. Described by Clout as “creating a vulnerable and honest energy”, both sides of Amelle’s music are as wistful and brooding as they are strong, bold and unapologetic.

Amelle is a 27 year-old singer-songwriter from France now making a new home for herself in Bristol. A lot of her work is focused around mental health and the human condition, which pairs beautifully with her distinctively open approach to composition and songwriting. Her debut album, “Conversations with Louise” was released in 2022, marking a significant milestone in her artistic journey. Co-produced with Dean Dichoso (Candlebox, Fefe Dobson, Family Force 5), the record stands as a testament to ambitious creativity. Despite operating on a DIY fan-funded budget, Amelle Rose and Dean Dichoso conjured a grandiose band sound between the two of them, leading Cult Following to describe the album as “a remarkable achievement as a concept and release”. As of today, the album has been streamed 40,000 times with no formal PR campaign or marketing budget, and has received support from BBC Introducing in the South West.

Since the album release, Amelle Rose has been captivating audiences with her live performances, gracing stages at venues like Strongroom and the Victoria in London as well as The Louisiana, and Mr Wolf’s in Bristol.

As a testament to her growing success, Amelle has recently secured funding with the charity Help Musicians for her upcoming EP, scheduled for release in 2024. This marks a new juncture in Amelle’s inimitable style as she continues her musical exploration with a drive to create impactful and authentic music, promising a future filled with rich sonic experiences that build profound connections.
