ABOUT THE BAND:

Who are you? DÆmons is a one person project that is primarily rooted in Metal but will swing in all different directions including Jazz, Funk, Blues, Prog Rock, etc. The idea is to write songs without any boundaries. Whatever feels right in the moment will be captured and integrated into the song. Having played in Death/Prog Metal & Power Pop bands previously, the scope for this project was wide open.

How would you describe your sound? If Toto wrote Metal tunes. I would say it is unique blend of Prog Metal but what band doesn’t say that about themselves?

What’s the story/meaning behind the concept album? Imagine watching several Michael Haneke films and then thinking of the most depressing themes. It can mean something different for whoever is listening. I know what it means for me but that is my interpretation of the story.

How long has DÆmons been a band? Only for a little over a year. These songs came to fruition after taking a 10 year break from music and once having started to write songs again, I felt that I experienced a musical renaissance.

Will there be more to come? As long as the ideas do not feel forced or stale, the future is an open road.
