We are ridiculously excited by this one – Professional rock band 49 Burning Condors releases their debut album “Seventh Hymnal,” and we can’t wait to share it with you. This band brings something unique and memorable with this 7-track album.
We’ve been blown away by how good the production and instrumentation have been on this album. We listened to this project several times and we’re still undecided about our favorite record because all the tracks are quality ones, that’s how flawless it is. All of this is more than impressive but an even more impressive point about this project is its impeccable production and mixing. The quality is interesting and the vocals are captivating. The vocalist has one of the richest and most powerful voices we’ve ever heard and her performance on this album is on another level. This band’s acoustic style is beautiful and their music is distinctive, different and really deserves more attention. Their instrumentals are outstanding, and their lyrics are original, well written and mesh perfectly with the vocal melodies.
This is a great project from top to bottom and will leave you on constant repeat for days to come. The atmosphere is unique and everything was spot on. It is one of the best projects we have listened to this year. Check it out for yourself and be sure to let us know what you think. Don’t forget to follow 49 Burning Condors online to stay up to date!
ABOUT THE BAND:
49 Burning Condors is a gothic witch rock band based out of Philadelphia, PA made up of a hodgepodge of souls: Kimber Dulin (vocalist + lyricist), Chris Tremoglie (guitarist), Andriana Markano (violin), Zach Rinck (bassist) and Kat Wilson (drums).
We thrive off the myths of malefic witches, lustful gods, and unholy ghosts bound to the Swamp, slithering with its snakes, home and grave to human and beast alike.
Our acoustic style mirrors the fables passed down – tongue to tongue and ear to ear — becoming more twisted and ruinous with every passing listen, with every gulp of whiskey around the fire.
Inspired by the storytelling techniques of Tom Waits, the deep, rolling lulls of Johnny Cash, and the otherworldliness of Karen Elson and Chelsea Wolfe, our music is meant to fracture reality with songs that each feel like their own horror — rotting with love.
