Conversation With Tomsy

Q: Can you tell us a bit about yourself and how your childhood impacted your musical direction?
A:
I hail from the suburbs of Columbus, Ohio, where I spent my formative years with my two older brothers. My early exposure to music began with drum lessons, culminating in my graduation from Berklee College of Music as a percussionist. The diverse range of music I avidly consumed while growing up was pivotal in shaping my artistic direction. My upbringing’s profound influence on my musical path can be attributed to my incredibly supportive parents, who instilled in me the belief that I could achieve anything I set my mind to. My brothers, despite their initial displeasure with the incessant drumming in our basement, remained steadfastly supportive.
