A: There are so many inspiring artists in the industry right now; it’s an open wave of exceptional talents and creatives. I prefer not to name any specific artist, as I draw inspiration from a diverse range of sources. My inspiration for making music comes from life experiences, emotions, and the rich cultural tapestry that surrounds me.

A: In ‘Searching,’ I delve into the profound theme of seeking love and connection in a world filled with chaos and deceit. The song harmoniously blends African influences with contemporary sounds, offering a captivating and invigorating sonic experience. A: Eclectic
Q: Did you face challenges while writing or recording “Searching”?
A: Writing and recording ‘Searching’ didn’t present significant challenges, but it was a time-intensive process. I self-produced the beat using FL Studio, which took considerable effort to perfect and fine-tune the sound. After that, I recorded the track in a professional studio. The instrumental was the most time-consuming part, but once it was ready, I completed the lyrics in just one day. The process was more about dedication and attention to detail than facing significant obstacles.

A: My music carries the essence of my personal journey and emotions. As an artist, I aspire to touch the hearts of my listeners on a deeply personal level, sharing experiences that resonate with them. My ultimate goal is to forge a profound connection with my audience and use music to inspire and uplift.
Q: Who is your dream artist to collaborate with? (dead or alive)
A: My dream collaboration would be with Fela Kuti. His influence on Afrobeat and his commitment to social and political themes have left an indelible mark on music. Working with him, even posthumously, would be a true honour and a celebration of Afrobeat’s legacy
