A self-taught artist, Emilio cultivated his skills by observing and emulating the styles of guitarists he admires – Ed Sheeran, James Bay, Adam Rafferty, Mike Dawes – absorbing their technique and crafting his own interpretation in his covers. Motivated by an earnest desire to refine his craft, Emilio took Jazz guitar lessons and started sharing his interpretations of songs on his Youtube channel.
In 2015, Emilio’s musical path took a dynamic shift. Under the guidance of US guitarist and teacher Adam Rafferty, he delved into the practice of Acoustic Fingerstyle Guitar. He started crafting his unique musical style, a fusion of Acoustic Percussive Fingerstyle Guitar and Pop Songwriting.
