ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Madrid based artist Miguel Angel Julian, aka Soul Teller, has been a distinctive figure in his music scene since 1989. He began his career as the songwriter and frontman for his band ‘The Cool Jerks’, who would release 10 albums with different labels and tour across Europe. After a move to England and his project with his new band the ‘Soul Tellers’, he would venture off to Memphis as a solo act, where he would meet what many call the “architect” of the Memphis Sound, Willie Mitchell. His “unique sound”, “old soul spirit”, songwriting skills and vocal abilities would win over both Willie and his son Boo Mitchell, who together have worked with some of the biggest names in the industry. After almost three decades, 12 albums and the success of his latest project, Soul Teller is at the top of his game. His wide array material, that spans over 300 songs, showcases his ability to bring his own flavour to the classic sounds of Soul. Soul Teller is now based between London and Madrid, but he’s looking to spread his music to the world. He’s refreshing, soulful and certainly not one to miss.
