Croissant landed on our radar recently with this catchy song, “Next October,” and we are super excited to share it with you. The song is a great experience from start to finish and really some good stuff to listen to all day long.
The minute we heard Croissant’s voice we fell in love with it and couldn’t get it out of our heads. He has one of the richest and most beautiful voices we’ve ever heard and his performance on this record is on another level. The lyrics are beautifully written and mesh perfectly with the vocal melodies. The chorus is catchy and will get stuck in your mind in no time. You may find yourself singing it by the next morning. The quality is interesting and the energy of this song is different. The instrumental is amazing and the production and mixing are excellent.
We really love what Croissant brought to the table today and we can’t wait to see where his career will go over the coming months. Check out the song for yourself and be sure to let us know what you think. Don’t forget to follow Croissant online to stay up to date on any upcoming releases!
WHAT THE ARTIST SAYS ABOUT THIS SONG:
“Next October” is a song based on a conversation in a coffee shop which concluded that everyone goes through a month/season of struggle. The song is a promise to be a friend to those who find themselves in said month. A promise that no matter the weather, help is only a coffee away.
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Croissant is the indie dream-pop project dreamt up by an imaginative and sentimental fool with a desperate need for attention and also somewhere to write down all those imaginative and sentimental (and foolish) thoughts.
The name Croissant alludes to the layered nature of the different melodies, beats and lyrics within the artists’ tracks. It is also a culinary favourite. If Croissant believes in anything, it’s that breakfast foods are to be enjoyed at any time of the day.
Croissant was created as a fun outlet for expressing all the weird jumble of thoughts, feelings and words that spent far too long cramped up inside.
Frustrated with how complicated everything seems to be? Yes – Croissant may be the artist for you. No – Listen anyway.
