A Conversation With Rozay Bella

Q: Hey, can you tell us a bit about where you come from, and what made you want to start a career in music?

A: I’m From the West side of Chicago but also grew up in Lexington KY and Atlanta ga and Broward county

Q: Did you have any formal training, or are you self-taught?

A: self taught my mom was. Dj for a skating ring in Chicago so music has always been there 

Q: Who were your first and strongest musical influences?

A: Phyllis Hyman …sade…Outkast

Q: You have just released your new single, ‘Get Yo Rocks Off’. Is there a story behind it?

A: I formulated the idea behind my features energy the Real Kayla kay is a force.to be reckon with I saw here performed and recorded it and sent it to her we.also performed at.the same so it was a natural link ..I heard the beat and could hear her voice So I said fuxk it We go e get our rocks off 

Q: Can we expect a new EP or even an album from you in the near future?

A: sure jackin for beats mixtape and some Hot Collabs

Q: What do you feel are the key elements in your music that should resonate with listeners, and how would you personally describe your sound?

A: My music resignate to life’s lessons

Q: Do you feel that your music is giving you back just as much fulfillment as the amount of work you are putting into it, or are you expecting something more?

A: you get what u put in

Q: Could you describe your creative processes? How do usually start, and go about shaping ideas into a completed song?

A: the beat bothers me then I go write

Q: What has been the most difficult thing you’ve had to endure in your life or music career so far?

A: my oldest daughter passing 

Q: On the contrary, what would you consider a successful, proud or significant point in your life or music career so far?

A: understanding my journey
