LA-based singer-songwriter Izzy Outerspace released her new album “Caught” and we can’t get enough of it. We listened to this album several times, and we still can’t find the right words to describe its charm. Izzy Outerspace has one of the purest and most charming voices you could ever hear, and this project shows off all the melodic tones of her beautiful voice. From the melodies to the lyrics, you can tell that Izzy’s writing comes from an honest place. Something we always look for when discovering a new artist.
We had a question the whole time we were listening to the eight songs from the album, Why she is not famous yet? She has the perfect voice and these are the kind of songs that shout “classic” at you, practically on the first play. A simple idea, beautiful instrumentals and captivating vocals bring you on an emotional journey through this melancholy album.
The production is beautifully simple and there is a great level of songwriting that shines throughout this album. Izzy Outerspace brings a level of honesty and passion to her music that anyone can enjoy. So no matter what you a fan of, “Caught” is the most perfect ride for you.
We love what Izzy Outerspace brought to the table today and we’re super excited to hear what other masterpieces have up her sleeve. The minute we heard “Metal Arms” we fell in love with it and could get it out of our heads. The production is beautiful, the instrumental is amazing and the quality is interesting. Izzy’s performance is captivating and her lyrics are honest, original and mesh perfectly with the melodies. This song is different and deserves to be heard by all people around the world. Enjoy!
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
Izzy Outerspace is an LA-based songwriter. Originally from Switzerland, she is influenced by Brit – and 90s German Rock. Her sound is layered with electric guitars and ethereal sounding vocals. Her lyricism at times storytelling, other times confessional and filled with sarcasm. She processes heartbreak, grief and impermanence in her writing, and likes to transmute those feelings into something dream-like.
