Growing up in many parts throughout the south of Georgia, Kierra the Goddess found an interest in many different artists such as Beyonce, Coldplay, Cage the Elephant, Diana Gordon, Queen, Ariana Grande, Doja Cat, Gwen Stefani, Jasmine Sullivan, $uicideboy$, Melanie Martinez, and many more. Writing was explored as she began writing songs at the young age of 6 years old as a way to deal with changes at home. Being a young black woman seeing such a lack in representation for her interests with her own culture at the forefront, Kierra began making her own music. Crafting music in the wide range from pop to R&B to indie and classic rock, many have been taken back as the witty songwriter creates music about mental health, being young, and relationships.
