Q: Can you tell us a bit about yourself and how your childhood impacted your musical direction?
A: Since I was a child, my parents have always had a passion for music. They listened to artists like Céline Dion and Whitney Houston and this strongly influenced my vision of music as a real form of art and expression and also use the voice as a means for a statement.
Q: How are you planning on growing your fan base and sharing your music with the world? What message do you have for anyone who is about to discover “Lord Vengeur”?
A: At the moment I’m promoting my music through social media. My music is open to all those who want to be rebellious and break the rules that hinder their freedom. I want my fans to fight for their life and freedom at all costs feeling free from any judgement or rejection and that they fight with a little glamorous touch that makes them feel unique.
Q: Who is the most inspiring artist for you right now? And where do you find inspiration for making music?
A: My music is strongly influenced by the electronic rhythms of the 90’s/00’s, I feel like mentioning Britney Spears, Madonna and Lady Gaga as my inspiring muses as they were really able to extract through their music the sounds that I am sampling now for this musical project that I just started with “Sinful Secrets” . When I write music I open my heart and soul to the world giving life to a creative universe that causes me visions of what has made me suffer in the past and that somehow I manage to transform into art and expression making sure that my soul can heal itself from that particular suffering event. Regarding inspiration, I would like to point out that it does not simply come from the study of what resides in my soul and heart but I am not only a singer-songwriter but I am also a student of fashion design based in Paris and analysing the fashion shows of past years or paintings of past artists means that I can open a real creative universe where my mind has no limits and make sure that the artistic expression of designers or artists of the past who had and expressed the same emotions or fears as me can have an extension of what was their creative past and vision.
Q: Can you tell us about the story or message behind the song, “Sinful Secrets.”?
A: Sinful Secrets is the song that I decided to publish as a debut single as it puts me face to face with this personality that was created at my birth or “Lord Vengeur” and that in the past I was afraid to let out because I believed it could destroy me but in reality it was much more destructive to keep him in a cage. With this song we both understand that we live in sync so that neither of us can die. Through this song I would like those who listen to it to let themselves be guided by their emotions and heart in regaining strength and armour and to fight for their life without fear because every personality is unique and deserves to exist without judgement or repulsion.
Q: How would you describe your sound in one word for potential listeners?
A: Dark-Electronic
Q: Did you face any challenges while writing or recording “Sinful Secrets”?
A: For the writing of Sinful secrets I had to reopen wounds that in the past destroyed me such as the premature death of my father, the transfer to a new nation to pursue my dreams and the criticisms that were made to me in the past. I had the courage to reopen all this and make Lord Vengeur come out of the cage and make me regain awareness of my personal value and how much I am worth to myself and that I could shine again by turning on a light that was on the way to extinction.
Q: What is the message of your music? And what are your goals as an artist?
A: Be free, rebellious to the imposed patterns and be ready to express your creativity in the most impossible ways as long as you remain real to yourself without allowing the people around you to access and negatively influence who you are. I hope that through my music, and this is also one of my goals as an artist, my fans can acquire even more confidence than they are and that they don’t have to be afraid of anything just shine and show the world who
you are.
Q: Who is your dream artist to collaborate with? (dead or alive)
A: I think it’s Lady Gaga because in a very low period of my life where I was lost she managed to make me understand who I am and what I want from my future and that I should never be afraid to express myself as I like best.
Q: What is your advice for people interested in pursuing music as a career or for those trying to enter the industry?
A: I’ve just started and there are many challenges to face but what I wanna to say is to never give up until the end and to set your mind in a way where you are already a superstar because one day you really will be. When you write a song listen to your heart and soul and let them lead you in this amazing journey of your life.
Q: If you could go back in time and give a younger you some words of wisdom, what would they be?
A: I would tell him not to worry because better days will come, fight for your life and don’t listen to the words of negative judgement because this can negatively affect your soul, that is, the most precious thing you have and it must shine.
