
Q: Can you tell us a bit about yourself and how your childhood impacted your musical direction?
A: My first two major music influences were Bob Marley and the Boyz in da Hood soundtrack and I would say I’ve been merging those two sounds ever since.
Q: How are you planning on growing your fan base and sharing your music with the world? What message do you have for anyone who is about to discover “Micah Salaberrios”?
A: I like the spread music that immediately feels good, but has messages within it of human empowerment and celebration of life.
Q: Can you tell us about the story or message behind the song, “Ascension.”?
A: I originally wrote this song with a couple friends back in 2012 when everybody thought the world was ending. I didn’t really think it was gonna end, but it definitely felt like a significant time and we were kind of building a community of positive minded people in this song was about that community.
Q: How would you describe your sound in one word for potential listeners?
A: Uplifting
Q: Did you face any challenges while writing or recording “Ascension”?
A: Making the music video took a lot longer than expected, but in the end, it was all worth it.
Q: What is the message of your music? And what are your goals as an artist?
A: The underlying message is basically God is good and love is the highest truth.

A: Make music that you love and put it out for the world.
