Avii Garde – It Comes Back

Avii Garde has released “It Comes Back”, a new single from his EP Petrichor. There is a lot going on in this song, but it never turns into one of those tracks that tries too hard to show everything the artist can do. The vocals are probably the first thing we liked. Avii Garde has a soft delivery that works really well here, but he can also bring more power when the song opens up. That change gives the track some movement. Then there is the chorus, which is easily one of the best parts. It has that simple quality where it stays in the head without needing to shout for attention.

The writing is strong too. The lyrics fit the idea of the song and there is a clear sense of coming through a difficult time and finding some light again. And honestly, this is just a very easy song to enjoy. The instrumental is well put together, the production sounds professional, and there is enough energy to keep things moving. Avii Garde also has his own way of putting the different parts together, which makes us want to hear more rather than just move on to the next track.

We really enjoyed this one. It is the kind of song that can sit on repeat without becoming annoying, and after hearing it, we would definitely recommend giving the whole Petrichor EP a proper listen too.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Avii Garde is a singer-songwriter and producer who began making music independently in fourth grade. Self-taught from the beginning, he has developed his sound through trial, instinct, and close attention to every part of the process, from songwriting and composition to arrangement and production.

During his teenage years, he became deeply immersed in British music, which helped sharpen the colour and direction of the music he wanted to make. The atmosphere of British indie pop, alternative rock, dream pop, and folk had long felt like a world he was naturally drawn to, eventually shaping not only his taste, but also his standards and attitude as an artist.

Avii Garde later lived in Manchester to experience more closely the atmosphere, culture, and emotional landscape behind the music that had influenced him. Rather than discovering his identity there, he spent that time deepening a musical direction that had already taken root in him, meeting different people, living in a new environment, and widening his perspective. After returning to Korea, his world has continued to unfold with greater depth and clarity.
