Louise Aubrie returns with her new single “Vienna”, a track that feels like an important step before her upcoming album. It comes from a place between cities and experiences, and you can hear that mix right away without it trying too hard to explain itself.
Her voice stands out first. It’s rich and strong and she delivers every line with real control. The chorus hits in a simple but effective way, and it stays in your head after a few listens. There’s something very natural about how she moves through the song, like she’s not forcing anything, just letting it land where it should.
The production is clean and polished, but not cold. It gives space for the melodies to come through, and those melodies are one of the best parts here. They’re catchy and they carry the emotion of the track in a quiet way. The lyrics also pull you in, especially with the idea of balancing big dreams with slowing down and taking things in. It touches on moving to a new place, chasing something bigger, but also trying not to lose yourself in it.
There’s a bit of that old Hollywood shine in the background, mixed with a more personal story, and it works better than expected. It doesn’t feel overdone, just part of the atmosphere. We really enjoyed this one. It shows her talent clearly, from her voice to her songwriting, and everything feels honest. We’re definitely looking forward to the album after hearing this, because it sounds like she still has more to give.

Hi, it’s Louise! I’m an indie rock musician who splits my time between my hometown of London and my adopted towns of Los Angeles and New York, bringing together the electrifying spirit of these amazing transatlantic cities.
I’ve been lucky enough to be described as “brilliant” by BBC 6 Music and “magnificent” by Louder Than War, and compared to Blondie, The Pretenders, The Smiths and The Killers.
I’ve recorded music at the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London, East West Studios in Hollywood, CA, Knight Time Studios in London (originally commissioned by Steve Lillywhite), and in Europe and New York City. I’ve played at renowned venues in London (The 100 Club, The Brooklyn Bowl at the O2 Centre) and in NYC (The Bitter End, The Bowery Electric).
I’m very excited to be working on the release of my 6th studio album ‘LFA’, recorded at East West in Hollywood and featuring Keith Scott (guitarist for Bryan Adams), Solomon Walker (bass for Bryan Adams, Morrissey), Charlie Paxson (drums for Smashmouth, Belinda Carlisle) and Roger Joseph Manning Jr (keyboards for Beck, The Killers, Morrissey).
