CTLN – Fed Up

CTLN just dropped her new single called “Fed Up” and yeah, this one is easy to get into from the first listen. It’s one of those tracks that doesn’t try too hard but still sticks with you after it ends, which we honestly like. The song is very direct. It’s built on a simple idea, but that’s kind of the point. The production is clean and professional, nothing messy, nothing overdone. The instrumental stays in the background most of the time and lets her voice do the main job. And her voice really carries it. It’s rich, smooth, and has that natural pull that makes you want to keep listening without even thinking about it.

The lyrics come from a real place. It’s about being tired of patterns, especially in relationships, and just reaching that point where you say enough is enough. It doesn’t feel fake or overwritten, more like something that came out in the moment. You can tell it wasn’t forced. The melodies help a lot too, especially in the chorus, it’s simple but catchy in a way that just works.

There’s also something cool about how the song was made. Starting as a demo in a different country and keeping some of that raw feeling in the final version gives it a bit of personality. It doesn’t sound too polished in a bad way, it still feels alive. We really liked the overall quality here. The sound design is strong, the vocals are the highlight, and the whole track feels complete without being complicated. CTLN clearly knows what she’s doing, and we’ll definitely keep an eye on what she drops next.

ABOUT THE ARTIST:

CTLN (“Caitlin“) is a multi-faceted artist and burn survivor based in LA but originally from Mendham, NJ. Burned by hot water at just eight months old, CTLN has this intrinsic fire and confidence that’s always lived inside her and fuels her passion for real systemic change through art. She is represented under her full name by Zebedee Talent, an international & inclusive talent agency for people with physical and mental differences.

CTLN’s music, a bold blend between R&B and Pop, is made to move you, both physically and emotionally. It is a spiritual healing journey that explores what it means to be radically honest, self-aware, and vulnerable in real-time. She reflects unapologetic artists such as Cleo Sol, UMI, Sabrina Claudio, and H.E.R. CTLN writes about her ENTIRE human experience to indirectly emphasize that people like her are more than just what’s happened to them; they are the eternal soul inside an impermanent body. Her visual brand aligns with this intention, highlighting her burn scars with regal softness without always needing to center them in her narrative.

As a burn survivor in the entertainment industry, CTLN is building a platform that speaks to all walks of life with visible or invisible scars. She leads by example to inspire her audience to exist outside the social narrative and learn to truly embrace themselves. The act of being an artist who is unapologetically bearing her scars and her soul is what will truly change how people are represented in the media beyond tokenized sidekicks. CTLN is embodying main-character energy so that you will to. You’re ready.
