Lillian Leadbetter just dropped her new single “Untethered Alchemy”, and it feels personal right away. The first thing that hit us was her voice. It sounded really familiar, and for a second we couldn’t place it. Then it clicked… we actually interviewed her back in 2023. That was a nice surprise, like hearing an old friend again without expecting it.
The song itself is built on a soft acoustic guitar and her voice, and honestly, that’s all it really needs. Everything feels very simple but in a good way. Nothing is overdone. Just space, warmth, and emotion sitting together.
Her voice is kind of special. It’s soft, very pure, almost fragile, but it carries a lot of feeling. And the lyrics… they feel honest. You can tell she’s not just writing for no reason. There’s something real behind the words, especially with this theme of change and figuring life out, like trying to hold onto something while also letting it go.
The atmosphere is warm all the way through. It pulls you in slowly. We really enjoyed this one. It’s genuine and that’s not always easy to find. We’re already looking forward to what she does next.
