Nordi just dropped his new single “Don’t Let it, Gone” and honestly, this was our first time hearing him, but it left a strong impression straight away. The song is very personal. He’s not trying to hide anything, just putting it out there as it is.
The vocals really stand out here. They’ve got this raw feeling which actually makes them hit harder. You can feel what he’s saying, especially since the song talks about pushing someone away and dealing with that regret after. It’s more like a real moment than just another song.
The instrumental is also nicely done. It’s a gentle piano and soft elements that fit the emotional side of the song. Everything blends well with his voice and nothing is out of place. That said, the mix could maybe be a bit tighter in some spots, but it’s not a big issue. It still sounds good overall and doesn’t take away from the vibe.
What we liked most is how honest it sounds and feels. The lyrics are honest, real and straight to the point. His delivery is smooth and you can tell he knows how to control the mood of the track.
Overall, this is a strong release and a great first impression for us. It’s the kind of song that makes you want to check what else he’s got. We’ll definitely be keeping an eye on Nordi from now on.
