Lynn Dossenbach just dropped her single “Pressure On My Chest”, taken from her new EP Combination, and honestly, it’s one of those songs that quietly sticks with you.
The first thing that stands out is how soft and simple it feels. There’s an acoustic touch running through the track, nothing overdone, just enough to let her voice breathe. And her voice really carries everything here. It sounds real, a bit fragile, but in a good way. Like she actually means what she’s singing, not just performing it.
The melodies are easy to get into. The chorus especially has this gentle lift, not huge or explosive, but it stays in your head after a couple listens. It’s the kind of moment where you pause for a second without even realizing it.
The writing here is honest and emotional. You can read it as pressure, maybe something internal, or even a relationship thing. It’s left open, which actually works better. Feels more personal that way.
The production is solid and everything sounds clean and professional, but still warm. We found her only recently, but this song (and the EP overall) makes it clear she’s building something real. She’s still early in her journey, but there’s something here worth following. @lynndossenbach
