EP: Odin Kaban – Be in you

Odin Kaban’s new EP “Be in you” feels less like a collection of songs and more like a distinctive trip through shadows and soundscapes. It opens with the title track, which immediately sets the tone. It’s dark, minimal and strangely captivating. The layers of texture pull you in, and the ghostly touches from Lucía’s voice make it even more haunting.

That same voice comes back on “Now here”, giving it a surreal quality that makes you feel like you’re not just listening but wandering through some half-dream state. “The search” and “Fake winter” switch things up a little, offering moments where the details really make you stop and listen closely. Then the closer, “Inner tides”, seals the whole thing with surprising production and instrumentation. It’s unsettling at first, but then it grows on you until it feels almost hypnotic.

What makes this EP stand out is how minimal it is while still managing to feel huge. The silence, the strange spaces between sounds, and the processed voices all come together in a way that feels dark and weird, but in a really good way. It shows just how skilled Odin Kaban is at building a world out of sound that’s both cinematic and intimate.

We think this EP is one of those projects you don’t just play once. It’s the kind of release you revisit because each listen brings out something new. It’s haunting, creative, and it leaves us wanting more from Odin Kaban.
